Employee Charity Codes

When completing employee pledge forms, some employers use charity codes. Each non profit has its own charity code. Employees will use these codes to designate their funding to the non profit of their choice. 

Belmont University, Metro Nashville Government, Nashville Public Schools, and NES (Nashville Electric Service) Employees.

Community Shares General Fund - 11000

Appalachian Community Fund - 11045
Regionally based, regionally controlled grant-making fund supporting the work of grassroots community
organizations that address economic, environmental, racial and social justice issues. 

The Black Children's Institute of Tennessee - 11032
Statewide child advocacy organization providing leadership, information and support to governmental agencies, community organizations, parents and individuals to improve lives of minority and poor children.  
Bridge Refugee Services - 11052
BRS is East Tennessee's only refugee and international protected class resettlement agency. BRS is responsible for finding housing, cultural orientation, and employment opportunities and supports clients in becoming self sufficient, successful members of their new community.
CISV - Smoky Mountain Chapter - 11013
CISV educates and inspires action for peace through local and global programs that build inter-cultural friendship, cooperation and understanding among children and youth. 
Highlander Research and Education Center* - 11002
A catalyst for grassroots organizing and movement -building in Appalachia and the South through popular
education, language justice, participatory research, cultural work, and inter-generational organizing.

Ijams Nature Center - 11053
Ijams is a nonprofit 318-acre nature center providing environmental education and engaging outdoor experiences to inspire people to appreciate and care for the natural world. 
Jubilee Community Arts - 11003
Promotes, preserves, and presents traditional arts of the Southern Appalachian region. 
Little River Watershed Association - 11074
We aim to conserve the Little River Watershed through stewardship, education and outreach.
Mid-Tennessee Council of the Blind - 11071
An advocacy group for blind and visually impaired people in Middle Tennessee. We promote social, educational
and employment opportunities, teach adaptability and monitor legislation.

NAMI-TN (National Alliance on Mental Illness) - 11009
A self-help organization of individuals and families living with mental illness, NAMI Tennessee offers free referrals to helpful services, support groups, education classes, and advocacy across TN.
Nashville Peace and Justice Center - 11027
A coalition of individuals and organizations striving to create a peaceful, just and sustainable society through
reflection, education and non-violent action. 

Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance (OREPA) - 11056
OREPA works to abolish nuclear weapons, support the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, and create and nurture nonviolent community.
Organized Neighbors of Edgehill (ONE) - 11039
ONE is the oldest community organization in Nashville dating back to the 1960s'. ONE organizes around crime,
education, housing, community gardening and scholarships. Resources are also provided by partners such as the Family Resource Center and Youth Leadership Development. 

People for Animals - 11075
An all-volunteer, not-for-profit animal protection organization dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation by
spaying/neutering cats and dogs through partnerships with veterinarian clinics.

Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi - 11076
Our mission is to improve health and well-being by providing high-quality, non-judgmental sexual health care,
honest and accurate sexuality education, and reproductive health and rights advocacy. 

Radio Free Nashville - 11067
A citywide, low-power community radio station for diverse and alternative music, voices, and viewpoints generally ignored or misrepresented by the corporate media. The Southern Alliance for Clean Energy promotes responsible energy choices to ensure clean, safe and healthy communities throughout the Southeast. 
SOCM: Statewide Organizing for Community eMpowerment - 11007
Statewide member-run organization encouraging civic involvement and collective action. We believe that
extraordinary change is rooted in the power of ordinary people. Members work at local, state, and federal levels
for social, economic, and environmental justice for all. 

Tennesseans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty - 11058
TADP strives to honor life by working to abolish the death penalty, prevent violence, and support those who
experience harm through a strategy of education and grassroots organizing. 

Tennessee Citizens for Wilderness Planning - 11048
Dedicated to preserving wild lands and waters through protection, advocacy, stewardship and education.
Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence - 11021
The statewide network of community agencies and individuals working together to end rape and abuse through
education, collaboration, public policy advocacy, and victim services. 

Tennessee Disability Coalition* - 11017
A statewide alliance of disability organizations and individuals whose purpose is to assure individuals with
disabilities have access to services promoting inclusion, independence, and productivity. 

Tennessee Environmental Council - 11010
Tennessee Environmental Council works with individuals and communities to improve our environment and
create thriving habitats, a circular economy, and climate balance for all in Tennessee. 

Tennessee Health Care Campaign - 11019
THCC is a statewide healthcare advocacy organization focused on supporting Tennesseans through services,
advocacy, research and story collection. It offers free healthcare enrollment assistance for TennCare, CoverKids, Marketplace and Medicare. For assistance, please reach out. 

Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC)* - 11065
TIRRC is a statewide, immigrant and refugee-led collaboration whose mission is to build power, amplify our
voices, and organize communities to advocate for our rights. 

Tennessee Pride Chamber Foundation - 11078
The Tennessee Pride Chamber Foundation educates, inspires, and empowers our individual, small business,
corporate, and nonprofit members, and the community at-large; who share the values of promoting equality and
diversity in business and society.

Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association - 11020
TSRA is a statewide volunteer organization dedicated to preserving and protecting Tennessee's streams, creeks, water bodies and watersheds. 
Workers Interfaith Network - 11063
A movement of people of faith, labor and community who educate and organize the community to create living
